Individual sessions are 45 minutes and couples sessions are 55 minutes. Groups sessions are 70 minutes long.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The following forms of payment are acceptable: cash, check, debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
What about health insurance?
I am an "in-network" provider with CIGNA and Empire BCBS. If one of these is your health insurance company, here are some questions you should ask your insurance company. If you prefer, I can inquire directly with Cigna or BCBS.
If your insurance company is not CIGNA or Empire BCBS, there is still a possibility that your company may reimburse you for fees paid. You must check with you insurance company to see if your plan covers "out-of-network" providers.
I accept also Health Saving Accounts (HSA).
What is your cancelation policy?
If you are unable to keep your appointment, call me at least 48 hours in advance and we will schedule a make-up session at a mutually convenient time and day. Otherwise, you will be responsible to pay for the missed session.
What are your fees?
I have a sliding scale that makes therapy affordable for many individuals and couples. I also have variable fees depending on the package of services you are interested.
However, if my fee range does not fall within your budget, I will be glad to give you information about a psychotherapy referral service that may suit your needs.
What are your credentials?

I completed the License Qualifying Program at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP), New York, New York.
I am a Candidate Member of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis.
I received my PhD in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico.
